The data from the Apeiron Research's omnibus survey shows that only 17% of the working Bulgarians believe they are better informed about the condition in their companies or organizations after the beginning of financial and economic crisis. This applies for bigger companies with more than 250 employees, though.
The results also show that the biggest part of the companies and organizations have neither planned nor implemented effective special measures in order to increase the awarness of their employees despite the changed economic situation. This conclusion is well supported by the fact that for 70% of the respondents (i.e. two out of every three working Bulgarians) there is no change in the style of communication or the information received by their companies. (Figure 1)
The highest number of working people that are aware of the organizational goals and the situation in their company were reported to be the freelancers (Figure 2). The 'well-informed' in this group are three out of every four respondents.
Almost the same results have managers (Figure 3). The less informed are people that are engaged with manual labour/physical work, with low education and with below average personal income.
In comparison to the period before the financial crisis, major part of the respondents (41 %) believes that they were well informed about the politics and the situation in their company. About one third or 29% said they were poorly informed.
