The Forth International Conference "Successful Communications Start From Within: Engaged Employees - Organization's Added Value" will be held at the end of September in Sofia, Bulgaria. Traditionally the forum attracts the interest and participation of PR, HR, and Internal Communications specialists, as well as marketing managers from Bulgaria, UK, and other European countries.
Leading topic in this year's edition of the conference is employee engagement - myth or reality is its role in organizational success, what are the methods to achieve it and how can we measure it, what is the role of employer branding in employee motivation.
Among the guest speakers of the forum that will take place on September 30, 2010 will be Kevin Ruck (PR Academy, UK) who is an accredited instructor and creator of the Internal Communications professional qualifications of the prestigious UK organization The Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
Guest lecturers and participants in the conference will also be Sean Trainor (Über Engagement, UK), John Smythe and Annie Coleman (Engage for Change, UK) - British consultants and representatives of companies with rich professional experience and well-developed practice in the field of Internal Communications. During the conference the strategic partner of Hewitt Associates for Bulgaria will present the main trends in the change of employee attitudes and engagement in Bulgaria in recent years.
Guest lecturers will be facilitating two one-day Master Classes devoted to the effective engagement management. "Creating an engaging employer brand" and "Top Tips for Achieving Effective Employee Engagement" are the topics of the Master Classes that will be help on September 29 and October 1.
Conference was first organized by Apeiron Academy in 2006. Each of its editions presents the latest news, tendencies, and current models of managing internal communication processes. Gradually it became the annual professional event for communication specialists dealing with internal communications in their organizations.
For a second consecutive year conference organizers will give the one and only of its kind in Europe awards for creativity and professionalism in internal communications. This will happen during the second edition of the Grapevine Awards competition. The deadline for entering with projects is September 13, 2010. Besides the traditional 5 categories this year a Special Creativity Award will be awarded. Projects will be evaluated by Bulgarian and international specialists with high qualification and experience in the field of internal communication, public relations, people and organizational management. Chairman of the Grapevine Awards 2010 jury is Kevin Ruck.
